Eco-competition for the school children
TNW Nepal organized an interschool quiz contest in coordination with International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD).The program was supported by UNEP and the Ministry of Environment. Radio Nepal was the media partner of the event. The program was organized to mark the World Environment Day 2007.

More than 40 schools participated and Birendra Sainik School bagged the first prize. The three children from the winning teams were also appointed as TNW Green Child Ambassadors. They then participated in the South Asian Youths Environmental Network (SAYEN) meeting held in New Delhi with the support of UNEP and an initiative of TNW Nepal.
Interaction based talk shows

Since its inception, TNW Nepal has been regularly conducting interaction based talk shows for college students and youths on a wide range of environmental issues like climate change, wildlife conservation, air pollution, solid waste management, biodiversity conservation, animal welfare issue etc. The talk show used to take place in Kathmandu Guest House (Thamel), Gautam Buddha Sava Hall (Putalisadak) and the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation(DNPWC) office. The talk show on wildlife issue is being conducted at DNPWC office in coordination with this governmental body. TNW Nepal organized a talk show on climate change for the Miss Teen candidates. After being made aware through the program, one of the candidates shared about the climate consequences through television.

Environmental awareness through (theatre) drama show
TNW Nepal has been staging a drama show at a theatre in Gurukul for the students and general public. TNW Nepal is the first environmental organization to create awareness through drama show or street theatre. TNW Nepal has organized drama shows in coordination with WWF Nepal, ICIMOD, Nepal Nature Dot Com, Hotel Dwarika and ECCA.

Theatre performance has been the most effective way of making aware and sensitized the people on environmental issues.

TNW Nepal has been organizing drama show at Arohan Theatre,Gurukul ( the only one big national theatre for drama performance) for the school children and general public since 21st September 2007. The drama show was held in loving memory of a highly renowned environmentalist and conservationist of Nepal who died on 23rd September 2006 in a helicopter crash. Since that time, TNW Nepal has been organizing drama shows for school children and general public.

Environmental awareness through public meetings
TNW Nepal has been organizing environmental awareness programs for the community people at rural communities of Dolakha district. TNW Nepal organized awareness program at highly rural areas of two VDCs called Lamabagar and Gaurishankar. These two VDCs are placed in the second category by Nepal Government in terms of remoteness and backwardness.

The awareness program focused on areas like water and sanitation, organic farming, forest conservation, value of medicinal plants. The programs were held in coordination with Gaurishankar and Lamabagar Village Development Committees.
